The Polynesian Empire is at war! The Taiwanese crisis has degenerated into a catastrophic war between the Polynesian Empire and the Asian Anti Imperialist League. Multiple nations have followed suit with declarations of war against us. This must not stand. The Emperor of Polynesia gave the Prime Minister Sandra Lee Vercroe’s blessing to disclose the demands given to us by the Chinese Empire to the public and their oppressive demands. Subservience to a foreign emperor? Total isolation? Forcing our tax payers to pay for reparations to a country we have never harmed in the past? NEVER! The Worker’s Party rhetoric has quickly shifted from a pacifist stance towards selling the war to the public, utilizing rhetoric to sell it as an ideological war for liberty and democracy and a war for national defense. After all our enemies number in the worst offending dictatorial and authoritarian empires of Asia. We shall protect our ally’s territorial integrity at all costs, our empire and the safety of our homesteads depend on it.

With this the Empire of Polynesia’s economy and armed forces issued a total mobilization order, all forces unavailable in the north will be transfered to fight at the Taiwanese front. Polynesian shipyards began a building frenzy of transport ships, battleships, anti aircraft vessels, and destroyers to protect our sea lanes and destroy enemy aircraft. Make no mistake, this war is easily a David vs Goliath story, China despite its division remains a formidable opponent and it’s lackeys hold militaries of their own that could be used against us. Nevertheless the sheer distance of our lands prevent our industrial hubs from facing damage and a proper invasion of the mainland will not happen due to logistical impossibility.

A mass army training program in the Shield Islands has started in which Polynesia will modernize its tactical prowess, and strategic integrated command. Our men might not be the best equipped in the world as of now but they shall fight like the mighty Toa of old knowing the blessing of the gods of war is on their side. This will help us field larger divisional structures at a time.
