Deep within the capital of Kiangsi explosions erupted in the central business district with thousands killed within an instant. The bombs held an incredibly large payload with shrapnel and mustard gas to ensure a high amount of death. Across the CBD there was an estimated thirteen bombs, hitting the Kuomintang Offices, the offices of the Harmonious Guilds, and the Stock Market. The eruption caused confusion across the city of Nanchang thinking at first the city had been invaded, then secondly that there was a major accident, and then lastly it was a result of a terror attack. While the police searched for the perpetrators and the reasoning behind the attack the question was answered for them as leaflets adorned with a strange symbol fell from the rooftops of Nanchang. The leaflet announced the explosions as being an act of "The Purification Cells" with no other explanation on ideology apart from the term "Revolutionary Illumination". Seemingly at the same time as the explosions going off in Nanchang the Purification Cells struck at a meeting of high-ranking members of the Kuomintang secret society, the Tongmen. Among those attending were a few high ranking generals, a head of one of the Harmonious Guilds, and a major politician under Premier Lee Teng-hui. The Purification Cells broke into the tea house they were staying at and killed everyone inside using hidden submachine guns under their coats. Before they could be captured they detonated once again chemical bombs that prevented their capture and from understanding why these attacks were taking place.

Shortly after all the attacks The Purification Cells made contact with the police force, declaring themselves to be the sole revolutionary vanguard of the Chinese people. They released a manifesto the public that must be published if the attacks were to stop:

Chemical War is Revolutionary War. The world cannot be saved nor should we try to rebuild it, the only way to salvation is forward. We must once again destroy this world so we can be born again, purified and clean. The Purification Cells are the only way to to atone for your sins and advance forward into the future. We demand merely the bare minimum to save our people:

1. The Province of Kiangsi will be dissolved.
2. The Kuomintang will be destroyed.
3. The Five Harmonious Guilds will be destroyed.
4. The Purification of Kiangsi will begin.
5. The Purification Cells will guide Kiangsi as the sole Revolutionary Vanguard of the people.
6. The Workers will decide their own future without interference from the capitalist.
7. Revolutionary Illumination will be the only way forward for our people and anything else will be met with a harsh response.
8. Oligarchical Collectivism is the first stage in the Revolutionary Illumination plan.

Now the government and the police force must begin to decide what to do with these new terrorists who plagued Kiangsi. Unfortunately with their manifesto published the people now could make their own opinion on the group and decide who is right, for better or for worst.
