With the success of the last NRA Expedition, Chiang Wei-kuo has authorised the creation of the National Revolutionary Army - Expeditionary Force; a dedicated force created for the sole purpose of uniting South China under the banner of the Kuomintang. The Expeditionary Force would push into the South-Eastern provinces in order to to bring back Law and Order to the region.

Once entering the South-Eastern provinces they were met with a local Kuomintang branch that had been largely cut off from the rest of China. Once the locals saw the White Sun on their banners they quickly offered their support to the Province of Kiangsi. Unfortunately some of the local Kuomintang had taken to their lives of petty banditry and warlordism and refused the authority of the Kiangsi Kuomintang. Because of this, a small skirmish broke out.

During the skirmish the Rebel Kuomintang were unprepared for the vastly more prepared and better equipped Kiangsi Kuomintang. The small amount of rebel fighters quickly fell to the Leopard LMAI mechs and the 70mm Gai Liang artillery strikes. Over only an hour fifty six rebel fighters were killed and over two hundred and eight captured. The Kiangsi Kuomintang only lost five men during the skirmishing and had fifteen wounded.

As a thanks for uniting the South-East, Premier Wei-kuo has gifted the governorship of the provinces to Major Liao Guowei.
