The aftermath of the First Siege of Dun da Lamh was not ever going to be pretty, but this campaign proved to be less bloody than most would have expected, at least at the present moment. It was largely unknown as to why forces werenât ordered to attack Moranian positions, other than the fact that it would have been suicidal to do so, especially when the TrĂŹgĂ idheil knew of the Moranianâs usage of mechanized weaponry and vehicles, which were greatly superior to the ragtag gangs that some considered âMacDonald Regimentsâ, which were made up mostly of barely-clothed men in long tartan cloaks with hunting rifles who claimed to know the mountains like the back of their hand. The circumstance was certainly not something lost on the TrĂŹgĂ idheil, so precautions were made to ensure that failure would be unlikely.
