As one drove along the Kingdom of Fifes wonderful roadways, provided they had a car or at the very least a reliable horse, they could look to the side, seeing local commerce thrive compared to its previous state and they could see the establishment of farms, signs of a more balanced economy. While Fife was still the petrostate it was founded to be, it seems that a lack of global demand for its oil and coal, or the unreliability of some trading partners brought new agricultural life to the region. While government aid has not always been the most focused on the people, it seems that recent investments will pay off, if not during harvesting season, then at the very least in time for next year's planting season.
Out of oil, comes the energy of life, out of energy comes growth, and out of growth, comes the seeds of the future.
