Year 3 Expansion

The troop convoy would just be slowly patrolling the area around Clova, a bit nervous as their trucks and trailers slowly climbed up the rugged Scottish terrain. It had been an odd request for some, but for others who were used to serving and expanding into Scotland over the past few years, they quite liked not marching along old, worn out, dirt roads. At the very least, even if the suspension on the trucks gave out, they wouldn't need to march.

While not as noble as landing along the coast and securing a forward base of operations, or not as graceful as those who crossed the River Tay, those by Clova were ready. But as with most incursions and liberation of Scotland, the people didn't raise a fuss, at least publically. Sure there were always those with the million questions to delay the ceremony and such, but in the end they always quieted down.

Maybe, just maybe those around Fife had grown assumed to Fifean culture and politics and made integration easier? Maybe they sought strength in numbers? Order? Unity? A sense of purpose? Whatever the reason, the Fifean flag was raised above Clova without much issue as the soldiers rested, preparing for the year to come.
