"You know, right, I understand the importance of securing this wasteland and helping to recolonize Scotland, right?" The soldier said, stretching as he sat against a half ruined stone fence, the signal of a previous era that collapsed into rubble.

"Right."

"But, why didn't we do this earlier, like, why didn't we try and seize this land like years ago?"

"Well," his battle buddy would start, "We had to get our house in order, that's what the King said, no?"

The soldier sighs, "I guess, I'm just more anxious about the fact that we have been stuck here waiting for the folks from down south to officially move the border points north."

They'd both watch and wait, and as the sun finally set, a small truck would come up and place down a few prominent rocks, the first step in claiming more and more of neutral Scotland.
