Across the meadows and hills of the highlands sat sheep idly chewing on the green grass of Scotland, complete silence apart from an echoed β€œBaa”. A shepherd looked over the hills and the slowly setting sun, thanking God for the quiet day. As he packed up his kit and begun to walk back to his cottage the faint rumble of engines could be heard, a rumble that grew louder and louder as the seconds passed. The shepherd peered over the horizon with a pair of binoculars and soon found the spruce of the sound; a large motorised detachment of armed soldiers adorned with the flag of Grand Argyll. The shepherd sighed and sat down on a rock next to him while looking over at one of his sheep, β€œWell feck, there goes the bleeding neighbourhood.”

The motorised force was indeed from Grand Argyll under the auspicious orders of the Standing Council who wished for more of the Highland being united under the ancestral Clans. The take over of the sparsely populated area was rather easy as many of the inhabitants simply just didn’t care about who ruled over them as long as their livelihood isn’t affected. To ensure that this promise was kept, the Standing Council declared the newly acquired land would be given to Clan Graham and Clan MacLaren in what will be known as the Grand Argyll Graham-MacLaren pact.
