Around Africa many nations cling to antiquated ideals of authoritarianism and socialism while barely any conduct themselves in a modern and liberal democratic way. As one of the premier democracies in Africa, the United States of Sinai has revealed an “Affirmation of Friendship” to all democratic states that have a proven track record in liberty, equality, and freedom. The affirmation is as follows:

The United States of Sinai offers up a helping hand in lighting the Beacon of Liberty across Africa. We raise our voices in support of democracy and fairness in the development modern day nations. We proclaim five rights of democracy that all nations should strive to follow.

1) The right to fair and equal elections.

2) The right to protest.

3) The right to criticise.

4) The right to vote.

5) The right to not vote.

This affirmation will be sent to multiple democratic states in the hope others will adopt said principles.
