Post Body

As the Socialist Republic of Burma is largely surrounded by foreign capitalist powers, a well equipped army is required to defend socialism! Although there are already three armies under the control of Burma, more are required to prepare for the liberation of the false-state of Myanmar. The new army will be known as the Burmese Liberation Army.

The Burmese Liberation Army

General: Ming Aung Win (Four Star General).

Size: 2500.

Doctrine: Light Infantry with a militia component.

Engagement Plan: The Burmese Liberation Army is a majority infantry force that will be used for unconventional warfare within foreign nations. They are made up of professional Burmese soldiers as well as the less trained but more radical Red Guard militia. The purpose of the professional forces are to engage and defeat OPFOR while the Red Guard are there to ensure peacekeeping and re-education takes place. The Red Guard also will partake in unconventional warfare, using guerrilla tactics trained from the Maoist text "On Guerrilla Warfare". As the Socialist Republic of Burma is a signatory of the Expanded Human Rights Charter the Red Guard militia will avoid the past tactics of IEDs, kidnappings, and attacks on civilian infrastructure.

The Red Guard also will help establish hospitals under the new charter, including requisitioning any local hospitals that were previously used by foreign militaries.
