In the Socialist Republic of Burma a focus has been primarily put upon the rural peasants, that is even reflected through government legislation and the naming conventions of the political parties. Despite this, a push from United Restoration Council has convinced the NPDA to allocate a budget of $87,500,000 to develop the urban centres of Burma. The development will help build up universities in the area as well as open more industrial business that should improve the administration of Burma. Even though the NPDA itself is Agrarian based, they still see the importance of having a functional urbanite population made up of industrialists, petty bourgeoisie, and the intelligentsia.
The urban populations will receive these upgrades before the end of the year and the production from the factories will easily repay the budget that had to be spent.
