The National Peasant's Congress, numbering at 900 seats.
The New Peasant's Democratic Alliance
The New Peasant's Democratic Alliance (NPDA) was the leading revolutionary force behind the Burmese coup against the corrupt King. The NPDA is a vaguely Maoist group that was founded by N'Ban La after finding socialist material from the Tamil. His views on socialism are naturalized for the conditions of Burma and has released a programme called "The Burmese Way to Socialism" which merges Buddhism, Nationalism, and Socialism all together. The NPDA makes up 600 of the 900 seats as the head of the Burmese United Front.
Factions:
The Majority (Aamyarrhcu):
The Aamyarrhcu are the majority faction within the NPDA, they uphold the most orthodox views within the party. President La is the head of this faction, he was the one who characterised the NPDA as upholding the Burmese Way to Socialism. The Aamyarrhcu hold unified views as President La upholds ideological purity above much else, forcing people into Struggle Sessions and Self-Crit lessons if they are found to be counterrevolutionary.
Ideology:
- Marxism-Leninism-Maoism
- Burmese Way to Socialism
- Agrarian Socialism
The Minority (Luunaeehcu):
The Luunaeehcu are the minority within the NPDA. They hold more unorthodox views in comparison to the rest of the Burmese socialist movement and thus are held with small amounts of suspicion. The Luunaeehcu are less radical than the Aamyarrhcu and hold more theorist roles within the party, even during the revolution they spent more times in the printing presses than on the frontlines.
Ideology:
- Left-Communism
- Council Communism
- Libertarian Marxism

The All-Burma Student's Front
The All-Burma Student's Front (ABSF) was another revolutionary force during the Burmese uprising. The ABSF are radical Maoists who are mainly situated in the urban areas of Burma. They originally rose up in the universities and officer schools that were placed around Burma causing them to the 'Armed Intelligentsia'. Their orthodox Maoist views put them at odds with the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist NPDA as well as the ABSF's inclination to left-nationalism. The ABSF hold 102 seats in the NPC.
Factions:
The Student's Union (Kyaunggsarrsamagg)
The Kyaunggsarrsamagg are the main faction within the ABSF, they hold the most radical Maoist views and were involved in mass action against the Monarchy during the civil war. Within the ABSF, the Kyaunggsarrsamagg ensure that universities and schools within Burma uphold socialism and teach revolutionary values, not the reactionary values of the Monarchy.
Ideology:
- Maoism
- Left-Nationalism
- Ultra-Leftism (uncompromising leftism)
Red Army Faction (Kyaathkyayne)
The Kyaathkyayne are an unusual faction within the ABSF, they do not promote Burmese Socialism and instead call for a world revolution through violent actions. During the revolution they acted as the 'Assassination Cadre' of the United Front, usually killing or kidnapping counter-revolutionaries within urban areas, including universities. They continuously push the National Peasant's Congress to invade neighbouring nations to expand socialism even if the war seems unwinnable.
Ideology:
- Trotskyism
- Socialist Terrorism
------------------------------------------------------
The United Restoration Council
The United Restoration Council (URC) is a loose alliance of various socialist, nationalist, or democratic organisations that banded together to unite against the Kingdom of Burma. Now post-revolution they work as the 'Liberal' element within the Burmese one-party state insuring some private enterprise is available. They are the most moderate of the United Front and uphold 'Socialism with Burmese Characteristics'. The URC holds 100 seats in the NPC.
Factions:
The Industrious Workers of Burma (Hcaatmhulotengaann)
The Hcaatmhulotengaann are a moderate and more balanced socialist force within Burma, representing the industry and development push. They hold a unique socialist ideology known as 'Socialism with Burmese Characteristics', similar to the pre-flood ideology that flourished in China. Through the Hcaatmhulotengaann business owners and factory overseers are represented.
Ideology:
- Federalism
- Socialism with Burmese Characteristics
Burmese Association for Promoting Democracy (Demokaraat)
The Demokaraat are a liberal-socialist faction that uphold the views of the Maoist 'New Democracy', even if the policy isn't the highest achievement of socialism. Mao's New Democracy explains the Bloc of Four Classes as an unfortunate but necessary consequence of imperialism as described by Lenin and thus it must be upheld within the Burmese system.
- New Democracy
- Social Democracy

Remaining Independent Parties/Organisations
While the main political groupings of the NPDA, the ABSF, and the URC are all represented through the United Front there are some smaller less powerful parties that are represented. They have various beliefs but all have been vetted by the National Peasant's Congress to ensure no counter-revolutionary action would occur.
Military Appointed Officials (Tatmadaw)
The Tatmadaw are appointed by the President to represent the socialist armed forces of Burma. They hold various socialist views but for the majority the Tatmadaw just promote the military within government as well as being the banner for all Military Governors within Burma. The Tatmadaw hold 45 seats in the NPC.
Ideology
- Militarism
- Socialism
- Federalism
The Young Men's Buddhist Association (Buddhabharsar)
The Buddhabharsar are the legally recognised front for Buddhism within Burma. Burmese Buddhism has been merged with socialism and now communal living is incredibly common among the devout Buddhists. They ensure that Buddhists in Burma are proud socialists and do not align to the previous Monarchy which held an iron fist over the religion. The Buddhabharsar hold 28 seats in the NPC.
Ideology
- Buddhist Socialism
- Religious Interests
Revolutionary Committee of the Burmese Nationals (Aamyoesarrrayy)
The Aamyoesarrrayy are a nationalist coalition that follow the ideology of the 'Three Principles of the People', also known as Tridemism. While they are still socialist their main views are on Burmese nationalism, which causes problems as Burma is a multi-cultural society and even the President is not Burmese, but Kachin. The Aamyoesarrrayy hold 20 seats in the NPC.
Ideology
- Three Principles of the People (Tridemism)
- Burmese Nationalism
- Socialism with Burmese Characteristics
Burmese Social Democratic Party (Luumhurayy)
The Luumhurayy are an incredibly small party within the Burmese government, they hold social democratic views but are largely a front organisation. They hold no real power and those who do vote for the Luumhurayy are placed on a list where they will be investigated for counter-revolutionary action. The Luumhurayy hold 5 seats in the NPC.
Ideology
- Social Democracy
- Liberalism
