Head of State: Party General Secretary and President N'Ban La.

Motto: Kaba Ma Kyei, Till the End of the World.
Before the Socialist Republic, there was a corrupt Kingdom in the lands of Burma. The people had been oppressed and stepped upon by the monarch and his servants executing his evil deeds. The people had fallen into essential slavery, this coupled with the lack of any industrial power in Burma caused a heavy divide between rich and poor. However, N'Ban La, a Kachin who grew up in the mountainous regions of Burma had read socialist material he had smuggled in through the Tamil Worker's State and begun to plan. He created the New Peasant's Democratic Army, a socialist militant force that would rise up against the Kingdom that oppressed them. It wasn't before long that more groups begun to rise up, all of various socialist tendencies. The primary are:
The New Peasant's Democratic Army/Alliance: A vaguely Maoist group that was founded by N'Ban La after finding socialist material from the Tamil. His views on socialism are naturalized for the conditions of Burma and has released a programme called "The Burmese Way to Socialism" which merges Buddhism, Nationalism, and Socialism all together. Post-revolution the Army was renamed the Alliance, paving the way for a peaceful future of political stability.
The All-Burma Student's Front: The ABSF are radical Maoists who are mainly situated in the urban areas of Burma. They originally rose up in the universities and officer schools that were placed around Burma causing them to the 'Armed Intelligentsia'.
The United Restoration Council: A Popular Front of various socialist, nationalist, or democratic organisations that banded together to unite against the Kingdom of Burma. Now post-revolution they work as the 'Liberal' element within the Burmese one-party state insuring some private enterprise is available.
These three main groups make up the "Unified Front for Delivering Socialism to the Burmese People", a united front wherein only one party holds power at the national level (NPDA) and the rest of the parties within the UFDSBP hold more local power. The minor parties within the United Front must accept the leading role of the NPDA as they uphold socialism in Burma. The Constitution of Burma states in the preamble: "The system of the multi-party cooperation and political consultation led by the New Peasant's Democratic Alliance will exist and develop for a long time to come."
Now with the Socialist Republic established and the first of the five year plans set out, Burma can finally recover and develop in peace without the stench of the monarchy to take forefront.
