The Guardianship had always maintained an attitude that grew directly out of its own foundation. The Guardianship was but a shell for the Popular Front, the party that dominated the Guardianship's politics and had lead what was then the core territory of old Tajikistan and now a powerful, thriving democracy of differing peoples. The viewpoint of the Guardianship regarding the international community had been largely shaped by this fact, and one that had also been shaped by the conflict with the authoritarian Communist Part of Central Asia and now the conflict with the fundamentalist extremist Taliban and their allies.

Thus, when news came in of an organization of cities, tribes, and other political entities had grown to be of special importance along the coast of the Black Sea it quickly garnered the interest of the leaders of the Guardianship. The Turkic peoples had never quite fit into the new path the right-wing, which is the dominant wing, had adopted of liberalization and liberation of Iranic peoples. Most Turkic peoples still within the Guardianship were due to the Turkic regions of the now-defunct Communist Party of Central Asia and border regions of the Guardianship while it was still in its infancy. While they were treated no different systematically, it was no question they were the minority. More importantly, it had become clear that the Turkic Federation was one that understood and at least appeared to respect the ideals of democracy, something that the Guardianship holds dear. This Federation looks very similar to that of the budding Guardianship and it's leaders cannot help but understand the political reality it faces. These factors lead to the reaching out of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to this burgeoning republic.
