Father knew this would happen. Father foretold it. This is what we are told in the scripture. Many years ago, before any of us were born, the Father foretold what would come.

The Father instructed us, many years ago, to seek our shelters and our caves in the mountains of the Balkans. The home of Jesus, and the Father, in these lands of mountains and river valleys, the Father found the cave where Jesus was entombed and where he emerged after three days to sit at the right hand of the father.

The Father, Our Father, guided us to these mountains. And when it came, when what he foretold came to pass. He told us, as is recorded in our scripture, “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of the heavens fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

And it was us who stood. Proud, and free of sin.

Heavenly Jerusalem, also known as the Skopje Orthodox Church, is a fanatical Orthodox theocracy, formed off the back of what once might have been known as a “doomsday cult.” Synthesizing elements of revolutionary socialism, Orthodox theology, and an absolutist obsession with prophecy.

Since the death of their prophet, an Orthodox priest from Skopje known as Father Nikodemos Ristovski, the group has been led by a Holy Synod and a leader titled the “Great Interpretor.” This is a spiritual leader, about equivalent to a Patriarch, and is tasked with interpreting both the word of God and the word of Father Ristovski in preparation for the return of their Prophet.

Their political leader is elected by the Holy Synod. He is known as God’s Vice Regent on Earth and tasked with improving the material lives of the followers of the church. The Chairman, usually serves for a decade or until his death, whichever comes first.

He will return for them; the Chairman assures the faithful. For now, they must build their utopia on earth. This has been their task for decades, and they have formed a cultural synthesis of Hellenic-Slavic culture and live in the mountains and forests in the Balkan peninsula. Theirs is a culture of peace, as the chosen have already been chosen by God and the Father, and other peoples’ on earth have already forgotten their futures. The faithful of Heavenly Jerusalem will not disturb their neighbors so long as their neighbors do not disturb them…
