Name: The Syrian Vanguard of Revolutionary Workers (formal), The Syrian Vanguard (informal), 'Syria' (colloquial).
Capital: ash-Shahbaa (Aleppo).
Official Languages: Arabic.
Government Type: Antounist One-Party State.
General Secretary: Antoun al-Saad.
Map: The Syrian Nation State.
Flag: The Red Vanguard.
Motto: Unity, Liberty, Socialism!
The Ba'ath will never surrender and stop struggling,
Go Ba'ath. Unite all revolutionaries, unite all great people,
Raise your voice: "Long live the Arab Ba'ath!"
The chants echoed through the streets of ash-Shabaa, the revolution had finally bore fruit. At the head of the protests stood Antoun al-Saad, a young army officer who's controversial speeches raised an entire generation of revolutionaries to rise against the Syrian Republic. al-Saad's words radicalised the youth into a violent fervour and retribution was coming. The military had risen to the side of al-Saad and the only thing stopping them from executing the Republican government was the ash-Shabaa police force. However, the police only numbered so few and the protesters numbered so great so it was only a matter of time until they pushed through the barricade. The Syrian Republic would not last the coming day, the Republican palace was stormed and the protesters tore through the corrupt politicians who had ruined their nation.
Along the streets politicians hung from street lights, from balconies, and from trees. Anyone who didn't wholeheartedly support the revolution was considered an enemy. Shop owners were murdered for protecting their stores, bankers murdered for not opening the vaults, even random civilians who didn't wish to be apart of the bloodshed were considered counter-revolutionary. There was no room in the Syrian Vanguard for anti-revolutionary fascists, the blood of the workers will not be spilt in vain, no, every death is merely a step towards socialism. Everything is justified if it ends with Syria under the immortal science of Marxism.
With the Syrian Vanguard established in ash-Shahbaa and the Republican pockets of resistance slowly being exterminated outside of the capital, Antoun al-Saad begun his reconstruction of Syria. However, the reconstruction had hidden goals. Bunkers were being built all across the country, munitions and explosives were beginning to be stockpiled, lists were being written. How long would it be until al-Saad revealed his plans? Only the inner-party knew. For the rest of Syria, al-Saad released a manifesto that helped explain the ideology behind the Syrian Vanguard.
EXCERPTS FROM "THE RED PARTY"
- "In today's wars, there are no morals. We believe the worst thieves in the world today and the worst terrorists are the Capitalists. We do not have to differentiate between military or civilian. As far as we are concerned, they are all targets."
- "If inciting people to do violence is terrorism, and if killing those who kill our sons is terrorism, then let history be witness that we are terrorists."
- "My God is none other than the people. Only the popular masses are omniscient and omnipotent and almighty on earth. Therefore my lifetime motto is: "The people are my God.""
- "While there are still imperialist aggressors, the state that has no defense power of its own to protect its sovereignty against the internal and external enemies is, in fact, not a fully independent and sovereign state."
- "Wherever you may be at this moment, let the revolution be there also. Spread a little revolution wherever you go! Never gripe about the System; project the Revolution!"
- "The lone wolf cannot be detected, cannot be prevented, and seldom can be traced."
