The start of Kiryas Satmar was after what is known as the 'Sixth Aliyah'. A period of time where after the flood, the Jews of America fled to their communities primarily in New York. New York happily took those Jews in both under the government of Acadia and of the Admiralty, giving them a safe place to rebuild. In New York, the Hasidic Dynasty of Satmar held religious control over most of the Jewish peoples and quickly united them under one flag of Jewish unity. From Orthodox to Reform, the Jewish peoples of New York put aside their differences and united under the Grand Rebbe Moshe Teitelbaum. However, with the fall of Acadia and of the Admiralty, New York fell into chaos with riots and violence echoing across the region. The only bastion of civilisation was the well prepared Satmar Dynasty who had already formed private militias across New York in case of a situation like this.

The Satmar quickly established order within New York and set up programs to ensure safety for the Jewish people. The goyim of New York were allowed to stay within the region, however many decided to leave as the policies of the Satmar were exclusively tailored towards the Hasidic Jews. After establishing a safe home for the Jews, government was next on the list. The Satmar initially suggested a Rabbinic Council to rule over New York, but the Lehi paramilitaries who helped establish the safety zone called for a Monarchy under the divinely inspired Satmar. With pressure from the Lehi paramilitaries, the Kingdom of Kiryas Satmar (home of the Satmar) was formed. The Lehi paramilitaries evolved into the security agency of Satmar, known as Mossad. Mossad would find anti-semitic agents within Satmar and remove them to ensure that the safety of the Jewish people would be paramount.

As the Hasidic Jews of New York still followed the ideas of their ancestors, ideas of Anti-Zionism and Militarism, a new ideology was formed. The ideology of 'Revisionist Zionism', the idea that Israel was no longer the Jewish State and instead Satmar was, a Hasidic Jewish Revisionist State that was the true home of the Yiddish. Due to this ideology, Hebrew became incredibly unpopular among the Jews of New York and instead Yiddish became the major focus. All schools in Satmar would teach Yiddish and English, as well as the traditional Hasidic Values. Despite in Israel where the Hasidic people would refuse military service in service to Zionism, the Revisionist Stance has made the Hasidic people voluntarily support conscription within Satmar which has brought upon a tradition of once reaching 18, males and females will do a compulsory 2 year service.
