Scientology, the word means study of life, study of knowledge, and that's where it is. It takes up all areas of life itself, things that are integral and maxims that are related to life and very existence. Let me give you an example. It's better if I take that, because it is such a broad-ranging subject covering so many different areas, the subject of communication. This is something that major breakthroughs exist in Scientology, being able to communicate in the world around you. And I think everybody would agree that this is an important subject.

After the flood, people returned to their base impulses. Primal urges of violence, debauchery, and sin. But there was one group who avoided the desire to return to primitive ways: The Sea Org. The last remaining members of the monastic order of Scientologists. Scientologists had been preparing for a time where they would be the last bastion of order and that time was now. The Sea Org returned to the land and established small townships that would provide food, water, and safety for all that would arrive. All they merely had to do was profess loyalty to the Sea Org and to L.Ron Hubbard. These townships begun to grow and more and more people would journey to the bastions of safety where they could live without fear of bandits or raiders. As the townships grew, independent towns and villages were annexed voluntarily joined the Sea Org for protection and unity.

The Sea Org realised that after more and more towns came under their protection that they would need to reconstruct a form of government to ensure their homes would be stable. Under the guidance of Captain James Saxton of the Sea Org, the Admiralty of New York was established. With influence from the Sea Org and the holy books written by L.Ron Hubbard, a nation built on the naval tradition of Scientology was formed. The Admiralty was put under the control of James Saxton as he was the Captain of the Sea Org previously, his successor to the Sea Org was Jeremy Hubbard (no relation). The Admiralty was governed by the values of Scientology but also through Civic Duty that the Sea Org professed before the Flood. In practicality, the civilians of the Admiralty vote in their local Commodores who are representatives of their region. Then the Commodores vote for the Admiral who is the de jure leader of the Admiralty. Once the Commodore's and Admirals are elected, they are now military leaders as well as civic leaders. While it is not necessary to be in the Sea Org to become a Commodore or an Admiral, it is supported and pushed by most in the Admiralty.

Now, the Admiralty rules over the New York area, ensuring that the faithful of the Neo-Scientologist Church are safe and secure in their lives.
