Marshal Ambroży Kara, leader of the Varsovian State, stood on the stage met with thousands of cheers. Flanked on both sides was the flag he fought so hard to place on that stage. The right half of the flag was the traditional white and red flag of the Polish people. The left was the flag of his movement- a black flag with a white tilted diamond. Inside the diamond was the Hands of God- a Slavic pagan symbol, representing the Slavic people. Nowadays it is less about paganism (although a small neopagan movement or two do exist) and more about pan-Slavism as an ancient Slavic symbol.

He grabbed the microphone. The thousands of diehard supporters in the crowd cheered as they raised their right arm and hand perpendicular with the sky as they spread out all 5 fingers to emulate the Hands of God symbol. The Slavic Salute, it was called. "HAIL MARSHAL, HAIL WARSAW!" the crowd yelled.

He gave his speech- a speech about politics, about his recent conquests up north, about all the traitors killed, about the future of the Polish people, about the unification of the Slavic people. His speech ended with a final powerful statement, "We are no longer just Varsovians but we are Polish! Our glorious army has put us in the position to finally declare that the the Varsovian State is dead, long live the Polish State!"

He raised his right arm and hand perpendicular to the sky with all 5 fingers separated as did the rest of the crowd. The Hands of God.

"HAIL POLAND!" he yelled.

"HAIL MARSHAL, HAIL POLAND!" the crowd yelled.

In the 2030s, the North Sea swallowed the northern coast of Poland. Almost instantly, the Republic of Poland collapsed almost due to mass immigration southwards. Warsaw was swallowed by the sea, with the exception of the Wola district of Warsaw which became an island. What was once Poland was now many warring states and tribes.

Among those warring states was the Varsovian Republic, centered around the city of Warsaw. At the time, this was considered the most stable and strongest of all the states. At first, most of the states lived in peace, but by the late 2130s, the Great Polish War begun where all of these states started to attempt to conquer each other.

Led by the Varsovian Armed Force Marshal Ambroży Kara, the Varsovian Republic successfully conquered much of their neighbors. He was considered a great war hero by the country. It was approaching the 2145 elections, and Marshal Ambroży Kara was running. His party was known as the Polish Revival Front. It advocated for ultranationalism, militarism, agrarianism, rapid expansionism, and pan-Slavism. His goal was to mobilize the Polish and Western Slavic races into a strong nation-state under a strong leader- himself.

Of course, the incredibly popular marshal won by an incredibly large majority of votes. He quickly seized the organs of state and declared himself the "Przewodnik", or leader, of the Varsovian State. His military campaigns has put the Varsovian State in such a position to declare itself the true successor of Poland as the Polish State (more commonly known as Poland) as it begins it's crusade to unite Poland and then to liberate the Czechs and Slovaks... Or die trying.
