Our military has made expeditions in the southern region between the Red Sea and the Nile river. Although much of this land is arid, dry mountains, there is still a lot of life in this area.

Dotting the coast of the Red Sea are fishing communities who's speciality is salvage- salvaging the wreckage of ships and cities from the Red Sea, and selling them on the market. These fellow Arabs have joined our Federation.

As we travel down the right bank of the Nile, we find some of the most fertile land in all of Egypt. Along with that, we find the city of Aswan by the Nile's first Cataract- although most of the pre-flood Nile communities were destroyed, Aswan survived with a lot of it still over water. It's agricultural industry has turned it into a booming city that has exerted it's influence throughout the Nile. For years we have been trying to annex Aswan, but now their government has voted to join the UAF.
