The Union of Revolutionary Councils has been expanding its influence across the Siberian grasslands and steppes for decades, but only within the past few years has there been enough of a developed heartland, and revolutionary spirit, to truly save the souls of those around us. Most of the communes in our region agree with our socialist values, and are willing to join us for the greater good of building communism in this reactionary world. Yet sometimes we find a state that actively oppresses (and not in the generic "all states are oppressive" way) its people, and if resistant to relinquishing control. This calls for military action, and military action is given. The Union Militias were raised in the eastern parts of the Union and marched north-east to the Kingdom of Tiksi, an oppressive monarchy led by a sociopathic priest-king. His perversion of the Orthodox faith (which we have wisely transitioned away from in our heartlands) has allowed him to control his people, despite their knowledge of a better life. Well, the Union Militias' arrival inspired the people of this kingdom, and within a few months the priest-king was dead and his armies reduced to pitiful numbers and scattered. It will be some time before we can fully integrate this region, as its society was much different from those we usually integrate, but it will happen.
