In an effort to continue our rapid expansion across the Siberian expanses, we've offered integration to (and colonized, in some places, but don't tell our people that) various regions in the coastal fjordal regions. The forests of the region will provide a great amount of resources, but they will be a pain to clear and pave roads and lay wire. Until then some rudimentary radio towers have been erected to connect the regions to our national network of communications. The people of the Fjordal Regions will soon be educated in socialism and our ideology, and by fully integrated into our new society!
Oh, and a large swath of the Eastern Siberian Grasslands has also been annexed, with the consent of the local people of course, but that's less exciting than fjords.
