Comrade Atkins, awarded recipient of the American Order of Lenin for his outstanding command of the First Partisan March, the Aloucombra. References were pulled to have him serve in the People’s Assembly, already! He couldn’t have been more thankful to Mard for his recommendation to serve. He propped his feet on the carriage, MP40 slung lazily over his chest, sipping from his tin cup while waiting for recon to relay him the most recent news from Ober Hill, which had reportedly captured ten men already today via crude net traps; it was amazing what the Federals would fall for!
He had heard only just recently about the trivial losses on the seaboard, and was nothing but confused about how some cadres couldn’t perform such simple tasks as making explosives, or digging pits. It seemed as though the nearer you got to Maine, the less creative the communists were. Atkins, however, was perhaps one of the greatest minds of this war, so long as he could keep the Federals in the hills.
