Overview

Our now enormous Military must be reorganised, after decades of bloating. Moldavia has been substantially adding new Regiments to its forces, as well as Fleet ships, and our Air Force. Ahead of the slated Confederalisation, which we still have yet to enact, the Military will be the first phase of this shift.

Military Regions

There will be five new Military Regions, one for each of our major geographic areas. They will have security requirements developed especially for their unique needs, but they will have assigned Forces based on a common template. What will vary will be how much of each there are.

Finally, a standardisation of Command will streamline the Moldavian Military, and ensure that in the event of our being called to Conflict, we will be able to respond swiftly and smoothly. The Rank of Marshall is a Joint Service Command, meaning the Marshall will command all tha Land, Air, and Sea assets in their Region, and all subunits will report to them.

Force Structure

The following are the Senate-Mandated minimum Force Sizes for maintenance of Moldavia's Military. There will always be some fluidity where recruitment is concerned, but as the above Military Regions designate, there must be a standardisation. Moldavian Forces organise into Regiments, and the following are the Force Structure Totals

Not listed are the Types considered. For many Regiment Types, there are Light, Medium, and Heavy. This information is considered too sensitive to inlude. The total numbers of ships and aircraft, is also to be omitted from this public disclosure.
