The Marquist threat keeps getting more and more dangerous. The Dardanian State had received reports that the Marquists had hideouts in the once-Yugoslavian state. The period of anarchy in the region had allowed varieties of terrorist and insurgent groups to flourish without any rule of law. Due to this, Kryeministr Begaj has authorised 'ARNORTH', the Northern Army formation to begin a pacification process of the area. The 'ARNORTH' formation begun it's deployment with a rapid reaction force of 700 mechanized troops with a support group of 100 of the top range MLL.76 "Hajdut" mechs to establish a F.O.B.

The operation to destroy the Marquist hideouts begun under designation "EAGLE FLIES" in the early morning around two in the morning. Local intelligence suggested that the city of Podgorica was a major hotbed for Marquist forces and thus ARNORTH woke up the city with the sounds of artillery. After hours of bombing the city mechanized divisions supported by LT vz. 38 tanks and MLL.76 "Hajdut" mechs entered the ruined urban landscape. On entering they were met with hidden anti-tank weaponry, mines, tripwire explosives, and an entirely armed citizenry. What was meant to be an easy special military operation turned into a certifiable war for every street and building.

After over a month of fighting Podgorica fell to the 'ARNORTH' formation. Yet even after capturing the city and its surrounding regions, most if not all of the enemy combatants found (dead or alive) were affiliated with various fascist, communist, and anarchist groups. Not a single red beret had been found during the invasion, not a single piece of evidence for any Marquist hideouts. There were no WMDs Marquist hideouts in Iraq Podgorica.
