New Years Brings New Farmland — Knights Enthusiastic

With the news of the possible economic problems of the coming year, many knights have taken it upon themselves to increase the area of local development within the Vichy Order. Many farmers bordering the ungoverned lands near Moulins have reportedly signed agreements with knightly firms to ensure the protection of their lands from the sans Raisonards and tax-heavy Empire, promising to trade a fair portion of their goods for such insurance.

This agreement has brought controversy to Vichy, as it leaves many knights — especially those under the Supreme Commander Adjoint — wondering how this will affect the upcoming inevitable border conflict with the illegitimate sans Raisonards, as it is reported by border authorities that such lands have been coveted by the heretics long before the agreements with farmers had been signed.
