Fervor Rocks Vichy as Sartre Officiates Foreign Policy Ideals!
July 8th, 2022
--------------------
Yesterday, the Knightly Order of Guinefort released a decision regarding the nature of Vichy’s importance within the French nation, emphasizing the preference of French unification and cooperation between French parties, with Grandmaster Sartre specifically being reported to have spoken of potential cooperation with the Aix-en-Provence Republicans alongside the Empire. It is reported that Monsieur Sartre would like to prioritize trade amongst the French parties, as connecting the economy to both the Empire and rogue South could benefit future unification efforts, as well as strengthen France against the unlawful occupiers of Paris and Brittany.
In addition to the comments made by certain knights, it is likely that economic and diplomatic connections to the Empire will be ratified in Vichy law, as Liaison Officer Jaume Plouf — the foremost diplomatic advisor to the Empire — is noted to have said that ‘Monsieur Sartre has not ruled out the idea of pledging fealty to the Empire, despite its obvious flaws in faith and politics. We are confident that an agreement can be reached that benefits both parties, and which can strengthen the bonds between these two nations wherein a unified France can be achieved with ease.’
Such news has been met with immediate applause by much of the Vichy community, as the growing threats on the borders have been a worrying sight for those in towns such as Lauzerte, where poseur American presence looms just across Dordogne, threatening the sovereignty of true France. The editorial staff of Epoque Desaix applaud Monsieur Sartre for his diplomatic skills, and hope that France is brought to a better tomorrow with his help!
