The Republic of Poland is a Proud Nation, one which for over a century now has thrived in a land once dominated by foreign overlords. Beginning in the wake of the Great Floods Józef Piłsudsk and his Polish Legions forged a nation out of the waters, creating a home for the Poles whom for so long had not had their own. As the years went by the Polish State only continued to prosper and its people along with it. Now the nation stands at the precipice, ready to expand into the Lost Regions of Poland, which it has been preparing for for over 40 years. Only time will tell if the Nation shall regain these lands and prosper with them, or if the effort will stretch the Nation beyond its limits.

Government:

The Government of the Polish Republic is a constitutional Elected Monarchy. Every 10 years an election is held, unless an election is called by the General Staff, to elect a new Marshal of Poland. This figure must be a member of the Military, either past or present, and all electors must also be members. The King is elected by a body of nobles whom serves a 35 year term or until his/her passing.

Inspired by the ideals of 1st Marshal Józef Piłsudsk and modernized by the 4th Marshal Władysław Chełmiński, the Polish State sees the military dominate politics. Every ministry is simply a sub-branch of the armed forces ruled by "specialized" officers whom are appointed to military positions for their experience in various fields, whether that be economics, foreign affairs etc. This modernization done by Chełmiński vastly improved the capabilities of the Polish administration as even though still under the military structure, ministries became vastly more competent and efficient.

The Nobles of Poland are in large part aligned to the Russian Empire, and wish to see Poland give up many of its special privileges in favor of deeper integration within the Empire. While the Nobility and the King do not hold much power politically, they have deep economic ties within Poland and across the Russian Empire which give them a voice that if not addressed will see the nation struggle to achieve its goals.

The current Marshal of Poland is a General by the name of Józef Młynarski, elected in 2019. The current King is a man by the name of Kornel Pawełczak, a noble of Russian background.
