Thank you u/sana425 for the Egyptian postcard, I love it! I really liked the washi tape that you used too! It was adorable :) Cairo would be wonderful place to go to! What was something that you wanted to try there in March? How long were you going to be there for? I super appreciate that you took the time to tell me about the temple on the card. I learned a bit about Egypt in my ancient history class in high school and was fascinated. It was funny, we did an activity where we buried a mummified apple so that we could learn about the process involved.

Thank you u/ocean_bea for the up close Statue of Liberty postcard. I would love to go there one day! I haven’t explored the United States yet but it is on my bucket list! I love the pen that you used. I kinda geek out when I see nice ink lol. I can only imagine how tired I’ll be once I climb all of those stairs!

Thank you u/h2owill for the national park postcard! I really like the art style on it! Thank you for including the date and weather on it :) I love looking back on that - it is like a snippet of history. I haven’t been out to too many parks yet this summer. However, I spend at least an hour every day when I wake up, sitting out in my backyard. I also spend a lot of time in my garden <3 I got to add some kale to my pizza today that I had grown from seed.

Thank you u/Halochanel for the lovely postcard of the Statue of Liberty! I was so excited today when I opened my mailbox and saw a postcard of the statue from you and u/ocean_bea :) I have never gotten one of the statue and now I have two beautiful ones to add to my collection. I love the fruit and farming stamps that you used! I haven’t seen those ones before. Also, thank you so for including the date and the weather :) I would love to visit New York one day! The Public Gardens in Halifax are beautiful. I actually just took a walk in them on Wednesday. We had an agave plant that bloomed last year that was very popular. Everyone was taking photos of it as it grew taller and taller. When it seeded, the city gave away seeds to people - there was a crazy line up! I wish that I could have gotten some. Peggy’s Cove has a lovely lighthouse that I go to usually once a year. It is really pretty there, the ice cream is yummy, and the postcards are affordable. I haven’t made a trip out there yet this summer but hopefully in August. We have a few really cool museums near me. I volunteer at the Museum of Natural History in their herbarium since October. It is one of the most popular museums here. There’s also a museum in Windsor, NS about the birthplace of hockey. In Halifax there is also another one that is mainly dedicated to the history of the Titanic, as many of its passengers were buried in this city.

So happy to receive all of these lovely cards today!
