My Airstep foot controller for my Spark amp has a boost button. It seems to have no effect. What is it supposed to do and how do I get it to work?

I love my spark amp. Love love. I love the airstep spark foot switch as well but I don’t know what the boost button does. Is it for overdrive or is it supposed to boost volume for a solo? Thanks everybody!
