Beleza! I think I'm slightly above an intermediate level in my portuguese learning venture. I under about 90-95% of what native portuguese speakers are saying (from all forms of portuguese around the world). I have a long lost of vocabulary words that I add to daily and I practice casual conversations daily on Tandem too.
The problem I'm facing is that I feel like when I'm on Tandem talking to other Brazilian natives I feel like I'm re-using the same words to express myself over and over. I'm a very expressive person and in my native (Spanish) and second language (English) I take pride in being able to use 3-4 words for almost anything I am trying to describe.
The question is how can I improve my vocabulary in a natural way so that I can talk more fluently and use them?
If you've ever used Tabdem then you know a lot of the conversations go through the same loops and there are a lot of new conversations like introductions. I think this is part of the challenge I'm facing. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Muito obrigado irmãos!
