Relatively new to both Reddit and Portland. Electing a county chair is kinda weird but seems awfully important. I voted for Sharia Mayfield in the primary because it seemed like she was the only one who took Portland's problems seriously. Looks like it's Sharon Meieran vs Jessica Vega Peterson in the general election however.
I'd be curious to hear your thoughts about the role and those candidates. Pros, cons, memes, whatever. Totally open to the thoughts of those who have been here longer.
