So I just got a bike for the 1st time in 18 years, where are the safest places to ride?

I'm blind, so high traffic areas aren't good for me and I don't want to ride where there are definitely going to be things that can pop my tires, because I most likely won't be able to see the object in time. I need long stretches of bike trail, but I don't know of any bike trails other than the one everyone keeps complaining about due to homeless camping. Is there a list somewhere?
