As a mid-50s guy with memories of Teenage Dance Clubs, both gay and straight, in Portland "back in my day"... The City, Confetti's/Quest, The Zone, X-Ray Cafe, etc. There's nothing like that in the city today. Most teenage partying probably happens at house parties or unsupervised raves.
How do you think the current state of the city would handle and accept a properly run, properly supervised, properly secured 15-18 year olds ONLY (perhaps flexing that age range to 18-20 year olds on select nights) Dance Club in the vibe and atmosphere of the clubs of the past? Would today's parents and city leaders even consider this as a viable option for Teenagers in today's cultural mindset?
