I'm happy to verify what I'm saying with a police report number if the mods want me to (I just don't want to dox myself), but tonight at about 1:30AM - 1:45AM my home was broken into by two men dressed in black in ski masks armed with a shotgun. I was personally assaulted with the weapon by being hit in the head with the muzzle, and another member of my household was robbed for his medical marijuana as it was the only real thing of value in the house. They didn't get any money, and they left fairly quickly, but it was still absolutely terrifying.

We are pretty sure we know who it is (he has a distinctive voice, and is someone who has been here once maybe in the last year and someone that the individual associates with), but I don't want to state the names of the individuals on Reddit. All I want to say is to please make sure to lock your doors and keep each other safe, because there are people out there in this city that will hurt you. I didn't expect this to happen to me, just like no one really expects it. So please -- just be careful.

We believe the two that actually broke in to my home were caught today, but the driver is still MIA. Hopefully he will be found soon as well.

Only one was arrested, but at least we have that going for us.

All three have been arrested! Thank you to everyone who helped us out who may see this, everyone who has been so sweet to me, and shit, thank you to everyone else that reads this :) I'm just so glad that this was handled SO quickly, and pretty painlessly as well.
