PART (Port Aperture Rapid Transit) help needed!
Post Body

So, if you didn't know, there is a underground subway -- PART -- that runs underneath the West side of the town. I've dug and decorated the tunnels, but need your help finishing stations (redstone-intensive, but we have a schematic) and digging the tunnels for the East side of it.

The plan

The goal is to make the rails follow and underground pattern like two Tetris "L" pieces inverted on each other:

 -- -----
| | | |
| | -- |
| | | |
| -- | |
| | | |
 ----- --

We've only had to change this design because of geography on the West side of town.

Specifications

  • Tunnels are centered underneath surface roads
  • Tunnels are 3 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall - @ y71
  • Tunnels have a "raised" track in the middle, 1 block high @ y72
  • Tunnels should only turn on intersections of surface roads. ~49 blocks (21 21 (2 plots) 2 2 3 (boundary markers)

If you want to help and have any questions, let me know.

UPDATE DEC 5

I've dug a 1x2 tunnel of the route to follow. This tunnel just needs to be expanded to be 3 blocks wide (what i dug is the center, so 1 block more on either side. Keep in mind that there needs to be a 1 block raised section in the middle of the tunnel (feet positon y72) and the dips to the left or right of this raised section are at y71:

| y72 |
| ____ |
| | | |
| y71| |y71 |
