I plan on buying a depreciated used Lexus LS 500 as the main car for a family of five. For the 2nd/fun daddy car for solo/ferrying around some of the family, I'm considering buying either a used Panamera or a used 2022 BMW M4 Competition convertible (3 or 4 years from now in Japan where used cars are around 20% cheaper than the US and availability is excellent). The Panamera seems like a bargain when it falls to around the $50-60K range and I expect the BMW will be similar. Can you kindly suggest any strong reasons for favoring one of these cars over the other?
