Audiobook speed

I think it’s common for people to read audiobooks faster than 1x speed, and the main reason people from Js church were impressed is because they weren’t familiar with audiobook culture.
It’s fairly common for blind people to read audiobooks on 3x speed or faster, and that’s pretty slow for a text to speech app. However when it’s a book, I guess you want to take your time and enjoy it.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on audio book speed?
