Hey guys! I've decided that I want to get a GTO and I was just wondering if I could get some feedback. The car is an automatic 2004 GTO with ~83k miles on it, but it does hold a salvage title due to theft. I wish I could get a manual Transmission car, but due to the area I live in, it's not recommended. It has a black exterior and a red interior. The guy is saying that it doesn't need anything and that it is slogged and registered. He is selling it for $10,900.

Some background info on me is that I am a full time student in college, I am 20 years old, and I work on average 30 hours a week at $12.50 an hour. For insurance purposes I would probably go with my sister because she only owns one car so we could get some kind of multicar discount. I've read online that some companies will pay you about 40% less than a clean title car if it was in an accident. Does anyone here own a salvage title and can maybe share some more info on that? I'm in California and just need an idea of what to expect from insurance companies.
