Hey! I think this is finally the right place to post this (and it was deleted the first time but then cleared by the mods so this will hopefully work). This would effectively eliminate the Electoral College, and has already been passed by 11 states. I encourage you to read up on the specifics here.
If you'd be interested in helping this pass, I think the best chance currently is in PA, where there is already a bill pending in the lower house, and where they have a year-round legislature. It might be difficult to get this enacted before November because most legislatures are part-time and have already adjourned until the next legislature convenes, but it seriously should be an easy pass for all non-swing states if their constituents put enough pressure on them - in theory, this is a nonpartisan issue, supported by something like 2/3 of Americans, and I imagine it would take relatively little effort on our part to get it passed, barring something unexpected.
