FWIW thereās a big difference between the US withdrawal deal with the Taliban - which is essentially us cutting our losses - and the āpeace talksā with representatives of the Afghan government in their unofficial capacity in Doha.
The Taliban is almost completely non compliant with the deal. Their ties to al-Qaeda remain and they are launching offensive after offensive against the government. Itās entirely possible they topple the government after the US pulls out without securing a durable power sharing deal between the two sides - which looks increasingly unlikely to happen.
