Growing up I didn't really have a party affiliation but I would say I'm more democratic about certain aspects of politics. Being said, I'm at the point where I just can't take a republican candidate seriously. Am I the only who feels that Republicans can be smart but ultimately don't care about the general america? I feel like they treat our country like a business rather than our home. I understand why people hate taxes but I just don't understand why people won't give up some of their wealth to help fellow human beings. Sure some people play the system, but welfare and medicare and other benefits for the less fortunate can really help good people trying to make ends meet. Does america as a people really not care about each other?
