As President Biden enters his re-election year, he is facing negative approval ratings and growing dissatisfaction from the left due to his handling of the Israel-Hamas war. More and more protests in support of Palestine are happening throughout the country and protesters are threatening to not support Biden this election until a ceasefire can be achieved.
Given the complexities of this conflict, as well as the United States historically unequivocally supporting Israel, how can President Biden realistically handle this situation? The killings of children and women is terrible and should be condemned by all sides but what are President Biden’s viable options? I would also like to ask a follow up, does Presidents Biden deserve the growing frustrations from his party over the alleged genocide from Israel?
America isn’t directly involved in the conflict
I'm sorry but this is patently ridiculous.
We are directly sending weapons to Israel that are being used in an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing.
The US covers for Israel at the UN and we provide cover for Israel attacking other sovereign countries. We are directly attacking other nations that are intervening to interfere with Israel's ethnic cleansing to the point where we're risking a regional war.
We are as directly involved in the conflict as its possible to be without having soldiers on the ground.

I wouldn't bet too heavily on that.
