In the United States, the right to healthcare is finally gaining ground. It looks like we could be moving towards a universal healthcare system more like what we see in most other civilized countries. I have heard all the Republican arguments against it here. After a quick Google search I found no information on this topic. Are there influential political parties in these other countries that are actively fighting against their universal healthcare? Are they taken seriously and what kind of system do they propose to put in place? More importantly, is it something the people of these countries would be in favor of?
