I’ve been sad lately because my obsession with Polin has had me wondering if there is love like theirs IRL.
What I mean by that is a loving, devoted, enamored man who loves living life with his best friend lover? Who is just absolutely attracted to a goddess of a partner? And a woman who is loyal, attentive, caring, a cheerleader, to her love?
Apart from what the show could have shown more of, I’m just a little sad that I’ve never seen examples of love like this in real life. I sure haven’t in my past relationships, but also haven’t seen it in my community or of people talking about such a love.
I’ve been thinking about our society and how some years back people had more time for themselves and their partners without the disruption of entertainment and phone in intimate spaces. They had each other and time to feel and reflect and observe and enjoy each other’s company.
I just crave a love so deep & it’s sad that it’s probably not real life…. even though a lot of us what that too? What’s up with that? ðŸ˜
EDIT: I’m reading a lot of people talking about their Colin. What if I am the Colin in the scenario? I relate more to him & really just want my Pen in life.
