First things first, I'm a big Polin shipper. However, after re-watching Season 2, I'm kind of annoyed with how oblivious Colin seems to be about Penelope. He continued to pine after Lady Crane and the life that they could've had together and is like "Oh yeah, Penelope, you're a great friend. Btw I would never court you."
Personally, I feel Season 1 did a decent job of "maybe he likes her but he doesn't realize it," in some parts, while Season 2 to me felt a lot more like "he sees her as a friend and only ever as a friend."
Which leads me to my question. Just how much groveling/romance is going to happen for Colin to finally realize he cares for Penelope? If I were Penelope, I'd be pretty heartbroken right now. Maybe I'm setting my expectations too high for Season 3? I just am hoping it will seem like he actually cares for her, and isn't just like "Oh yeah, I've absolutely been in love with you this whole time," because I honestly don't get that impression from the show.
