Not charging

I’ve got an 05’ sportsman 400 that doesn’t charge. Runs about an hour before the battery light comes on. Stator has been replaced with no luck, haven’t messed with the rectifier yet… because I can’t find it. I’m new to these machines and YouTube is basically worthless for this year, also having an overheating issue but again, can’t figure out where the thermostat is to see if it’s functioning
