Sooo, the contest theme inspired to write a poem. But since I can't draw dramatic comics for shit (I need ages for regular balls without shadows and background), here it is:

Often when I sleep at night,

I dream about ze time of fight.

[It's very dark. Germany is lying in bed at night and sleeping uneasily.]

About mein fall for splendid lies,

about mein war plans in disguise.

[Weimar Germany is listening to Hitler on the radio: 'I am going to make Germany great again!' At the Munich conference, Nazi Germany is shaking hands with the UK and France in front of a mutilated Czechoslovakia.]

How I unleashed ze total war,

and how to kill ze Jews I swore.

[Germany is seen crushing Poland and brutally attacking the Soviet Union, also shooting Jews en masse.]

Made everybody fear mein name,

could not afford to lose zis game.

[On a devastated battleflied, there lie the dead Soviet republics of the Baltic states, Ukraine and Belarus. Russia, heavily injured, swears revenge if he survives the war.]

I wanted all, to rule ze world

myself into ze doom I hurled.

[Germany is standing on a pile of bodies (Poland, Yugoslavia, France, Netherlands, Belgium etc.] and fighting the UK and the Soviet Union when the US enters. Germany shouts: 'Ha! You are nozing against me!']

Mein land in fiery hell was grilled

in seas of blood myself I killed.

[The outline of a German town is seen, being consumed by the flames of the fire bombs. Behind a pile of debris and corpses, Nazi Germany shoots himself.]

Zen always I wake up in sweat,

mein heart full shame, guilt und regret.

[Germany lies in the darkness, full of sweat and with eyes wide open.]

But zen, by early morning light,

I think 'Now is a different zeit!'

[The room becomes a bit brighter, you can see something modern, e.g. a sack of euros.]

Mein life is gut, mein future's bright,

for I have you here at mein side.

[Germany smiles at France who is sleeping besides him (under a EU blanket).]
