Eevee breeding...

Why is breeding for a 5 IV Eevee taking so long?!?!? I have a male modest eevee (with destiny knot) with HP,SP ATK, DEF, and Speed and a female modest eevee (everstone) with HP and SP DEF, im not sure about the 1st one but she definitely has SP DEF. I've been going at it all day and no results :( Am i doing something wrong??
