JustuceForCram
Last time a body post like this I got hella flamed for calling him a pelican, but I’m not convinced that cormorants are a real thing so let’s compromise with mallard.
A lot of people have been saying that Duraludon is feeling a little ovetunned right now, and that’s as maybe; some people disagree. What seems to be unanimous is that he has made Cramorant obsolete, and as a masochistic Cram (almost) one trick I can say it does feel like his spacing makes it really hard to participate in fights, especially when it comes to lining up extra dank surfs. You can trust me on this; I set my flare to this mon so clearly I am an authority on the subject. (/s)
Having said that, then, let’s assume that Duraludon stays how he is, or very nearly. Cram is out of a job, especially surficane builds. Moreover people seem to agree he’s a bit on the flaccid side in general right now, but because of this niche conflict with the ugly one it seems like just tweaking the numbers is always going to resolve things rather trivially.
So, what is to be done? Perhaps something closer to a rework is in order? My mind goes first to his passive; the one thing Cram consistently feels really good for (in my opinion) is getting a good load of splash damage in on a stacked team and then hitting the squishy back line as it retreats with ye old fish penetration. That kind of physical reach is, in my opinion, his standout quality right now; it can get about as deep as decidueye without burning a cooldown and does so more fluidly imo, but only provided there is a front line to ricochet off. On top of that his passive is kind of not even a thing right now; it’s basically just a strange boosted attack.
I would personally like to see some sort of change that can either help Cram get off these bounces more safely or that provides some other benefit to fish slapping a chipped frontline. But idk, what say you?
TLDR; Fat steel blob takes duck’s job, how can duck be changed to find employment again without just changing numbers?
